About the Client

Our client is a family of companies built around a shared belief that people deserve great places to work. Their HR and Talent Acquisition team supports more than 850 employees across multiple entities and is committed to building a positive, professional, and people-focused hiring experience.

They are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team and support full-cycle recruiting across the organization. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage assigned requisitions from sourcing and initial screening through interview coordination and offer handoff, while maintaining accurate candidate records in the ATS. This role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

This role sits on the talent acquisition team and works in close partnership with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and HR leadership. You'll learn the craft of recruiting from the inside, with real ownership of assigned requisitions and room to grow into a more strategic seat over time.

Full-Cycle Recruiting

- Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned requisitions — from posting and sourcing through offer and onboarding handoff.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
- Conduct resume reviews and initial phone screens to assess qualifications, interest, and fit.
- Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth, timely process.

Candidate Experience & Communication

- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the process — keeping them informed, responding promptly, and representing the organization with professionalism.
- Ensure every candidate interaction — from first outreach to final decision — reflects well on the company, regardless of the outcome.
- Collect and document candidate feedback and flag any experience issues to the TA Business Partner.

ATS & Process Management

- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) at every stage of the process.

- Follow established recruiting workflows consistently and flag gaps or inefficiencies to HR leadership.
- Support reporting on open requisitions, pipeline status, and key recruiting metrics.

Talent Pipeline & Employer Brand

- Proactively build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-volume or recurring roles.
- Represent the organization at career fairs, campus events, and community recruiting activities.
- Support relationships with universities, community colleges, and professional organizations to develop sourcing channels.
- Contribute to employer brand efforts through professional candidate communication and a consistent, positive recruiting experience.

Hiring Manager Support

- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and the candidate profile they're looking for.
- Provide timely updates on pipeline status and flag concerns early so searches stay on track.
- Assist the TA Business Partner in preparing hiring managers for interviews and evaluation conversations.

Core Competencies

- Attention to Detail: Keeps candidate records clean, requisitions organized, and communication accurate. Understands that small errors in recruiting — a missed follow-up, an incorrect job posting — have real consequences for the candidate experience and the business.
- Candidate Experience: Treats every interaction as a reflection of the organization. Responds promptly, communicates clearly, and ensures candidates always know where they stand — regardless of the outcome.
- Process Discipline: Follows established workflows consistently, maintains accurate ATS records, and doesn't cut corners on steps that exist for a reason. Builds good habits early.
- Communication & Professionalism: Writes and speaks clearly with candidates,

hiring managers, and the HR team. Represents the organization with professionalism at every touchpoint — including job fairs, outreach, and day-to-day correspondence.
- Curiosity & Coachability: Asks good questions, seeks feedback, and applies it. At this level, the ability and willingness to learn fast matters as much as what someone already knows.

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of recruiting, HR, or talent-related experience — internships and co-ops count. Extensive experience working in HR/Talent Acquisition within a US organization is highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional and clear in all candidate and stakeholder interactions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously without dropping details.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Comfort with a high volume of repetitive tasks without losing quality or attentiveness.
- Sound judgment about when to escalate an issue vs. handle it independently, with the ability to triage competing urgent requests.
- Self-directed follow-through and the ability to take ownership of tasks without requiring constant supervision.
- Some natural ability to "sell" an opportunity and communicate its value effectively to candidates.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, sometimes messy environment without getting rattled.

Preferred / Nice to have skills:

- Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) — any platform.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or comparable sourcing tools.
- Experience with Paycom or a comparable HRIS platform.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or active pursuit of professional HR certification.

Additional Information:

- Engagement: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Schedule: Aligned to U.S. Central Time

Please submit your application in English.
