Position Summary:
As a Structuring & Pricing Associate, you support the financial analysis, modeling, and structuring of transactions across the firm’s lending platform. You work closely with analysts, senior associates, and senior leadership to evaluate investment opportunities, develop financial models, and prepare analyses that support transaction structuring and pricing decisions.
This role plays a key part in ensuring deals are modeled accurately and that financial assumptions align with the firm’s investment strategy and underwriting standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate loan transactions and investment opportunities.
- Support the structuring and pricing of deals by analyzing financial performance, risk factors, and return metrics.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario testing to assess the impact of key assumptions on transaction outcomes.
- Prepare preliminary terms, loan term sheets, and supporting analyses for new transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials, including financial summaries and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with Originations, Credit, and Valuations teams to ensure alignment on deal assumptions and financial projections.
- Review and validate financial models prepared by analysts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain structuring templates, analytical tools, and internal dashboards used by the team.
- Support ongoing improvements to modeling frameworks and structuring processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, real estate finance, private credit, or financial analysis.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience working with real estate lending, private credit, or structured finance transactions.
- Familiarity with financial modeling best practices and investment analytics frameworks.
- Experience supporting investment committee presentations or deal structuring discussions.
- Exposure to institutional real estate or private credit platforms.
Work Environment: This is a hybrid position which requires in-office reporting to Anchor’s Bogotá office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Remote work is Wednesday
