Our client is a California-based accounting and CFO advisory firm serving 100+ small and mid-sized businesses across the US. They provide full-service bookkeeping, cash flow advisory, and CFO-level financial guidance, backed by a modern, tech-forward approach using tools like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho Books. They pride themselves on accuracy, transparency, and building long-term client relationships grounded in trust and clear communication.

What we offer:

- Compensation: $1,500 - $1,800 USD/month
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, Central Standard Time
- Location: 100% remote from Latin America

About the role: As a Junior Bookkeeper, you’ll own full-cycle bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients while working closely with the Account Manager and the broader team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who wants to grow: as you build a track record, you’ll take on more autonomy and ownership, and the position itself will continue to evolve as the company grows.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Performing full-cycle bookkeeping across a portfolio of client accounts




- Handling client-facing tasks with professionalism and care
- Working directly with the Account Manager to support client accounts
- Collaborating closely with the broader team on shared projects and deliverables
- Building and refining SOPs to create efficiencies across bookkeeping processes
- Developing and applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to streamline day-to-day work
- Interpreting financial data to support client and internal decision-making
- Supporting the team wherever needed, including data creation and gathering information as required

Key qualifications and skills:

- 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- QuickBooks experience
- Accounting background
- Technology-oriented with a passion for learning new tools
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini); Claude experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, MS Office)
- Proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Passion for numbers, critical thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (professional to native, spoken and written)
- Comfortable working Monday to Friday, Central Standard Time hours

Nice-to-have but not required qualifications:

- Familiarity with tax rules (e.g., IRS regulations, Sales Tax)
