The Opportunity This position is based in Bogotá, Colombia and supports Abbott's Medical Devices Division with a integral scope. The Business Intelligence & Data Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level analytics solutions and dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for business and leadership decision-making. This role supports the standardization and optimization of analytics delivery, helping improve visibility, operational efficiency,



and confidence in key business performance metrics.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, KPIs, and decision-making requirements.
- Translate business questions into scalable data models, calculations, and visualizations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data models, report logic, calculations, and refresh processes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate reporting outputs against business requirements and source systems.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, security, scalability, and Row-Level Security (RLS) requirements.
