Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer

Modality: Remote (Home Office)

Payment: $2,000 USD per month

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to join our team as a Media Producer. You will transform scripts, footage, and creative briefs into polished content for digital channels, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.

This role combines hands-on editing with creative collaboration and ownership of projects from brief to final delivery.

Responsibilities

- Edit short and long videos with clear storytelling, effective pacing, engaging visuals, and balanced sound.
- Create and adapt motion graphics, animated typography, titles, transitions, and supporting visual assets.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members on concepts, storyboards, and production plans.
- Refine audio, color, music, and subtitles to deliver consistent, professional results.
- Adapt and repurpose content for social media and other digital channels, including vertical, square, and horizontal formats.
- Manage timelines and revisions, incorporate feedback, and communicate progress or potential delays.
- Maintain organized footage, assets,



and project files for efficient collaboration and handoffs.
- Review final exports for technical quality, accuracy, brand consistency, and appropriate use of licensed materials.

Requirements

- At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing, audiovisual production, or multimedia content creation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish to understand briefs, communicate ideas, and discuss feedback.
- A degree or relevant professional background in Audiovisual Communication, Film Production, Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, including practical experience creating and adapting motion graphics.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating and refining visual assets.
- Strong storytelling and postproduction skills, including composition, pacing, typography, color correction, and audio editing.
- Experience preparing video exports with appropriate aspect ratios, resolutions, and file formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet agreed deadlines.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted multimedia tools for transcription, captioning, audio cleanup,



or visual ideation, with careful review of their output.

Portfolio required: Include an accessible link to work demonstrating your video editing, motion graphics, and storytelling skills. Briefly identify your contribution to each project.

Computer Requirements A reliable computer meeting either of the following specifications:

Windows

- Operating system: Windows 11 or newer.
- Memory: At least 16 GB of RAM, DDR4 or newer.
- Processor: Intel Core i5 10th generation or newer, Intel Core i7 6th generation or newer, or AMD Ryzen 5 or higher.

Mac

- Operating system: macOS Tahoe 26 or later, fully updated.
- Processor: Apple M4 chip or newer.
- Memory: At least 16 GB of unified memory.
- Storage: At least 512 GB SSD.
- Architecture: Apple silicon (ARM64).

For either platform, your computer must support the Adobe applications used in the role, including compatible graphics and sufficient available storage for video projects.

Internet: A stable connection capable of supporting video calls and regular transfers of large media files.
