As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of our security strategy. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across all of our systems. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our security policies and procedures.

The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in cyber security, network security, and information security. He or she will be a strong communicator with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary technical lead for all cyber security projects

- Oversee and manage the work of junior cyber security staff

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive enterprise-wide cyber security programs

- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential cyber security threats and vulnerabilities

- Design, test, and deploy effective cyber security solutions

- Monitor and respond to cyber security incidents

- Investigate data breaches and other cyber security incidents

- Prepare detailed reports on cyber security findings





- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure cyber security best practices are integrated into all company systems and processes

- Keep abreast of latest cyber security trends and developments

- Train and educate employees on cyber security awareness

- Perform regular audits of cyber security systems and controls

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

- 5+ years experience in cyber security engineering or related role

- In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, methods, and technologies

- Experience with network and application security

- Solid understanding of cryptography concepts

- Ability to develop and implement security solutions

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

- 7+ years experience in cyber security engineering or related role

- CEH, CISSP, or other relevant certification

- Experience with cloud security

- Experience leading a team of engineers
