Responsibilities

- Design and roll out testing frameworks that track closely with project schedules and delivery checkpoints
- Identify, log, and pursue issues from the point they're first noticed until complete resolution, working hand-in-hand with the engineering team
- Analyze product requirements and specifications to figure out the necessary scope and depth of test coverage
- Establish and maintain dependable, flexible testing architecture that can flex alongside changing project demands
- Distill testing outcomes into clear, actionable insights delivered to the relevant stakeholders
- Participate in sprint planning and estimation sessions, ensuring quality remains a top priority throughout
- Regularly reassess and refine existing test practices to improve both efficiency and thoroughness




- Liaise with teams across different departments to ensure quality expectations are met throughout the development pipeline
- Investigate production-level incidents to uncover their underlying causes and suggest ways to stop them from happening again
- Nurture the growth of junior team members by sharing hands-on expertise and offering continuous support

Requirements

- Beyond three years of hands-on, directly relevant experience in JS-based automated testing
- Strong fluency in JavaScript and TypeScript applied toward creating and maintaining automated test code
- Demonstrated experience using Playwright to run and manage automated test executions
- Background working with JS-driven tools built specifically for automating web interface testing
- Hands-on experience developing automated test coverage spanning web services and API layers
- Ease of use with version control systems for overseeing and recording code modifications
- Comprehensive understanding of the foundational architecture and design logic behind test automation frameworks
- Direct experience setting up and configuring BDD frameworks in JavaScript-based projects
- Solid communication ability paired with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, facilitating precise conversion of business requirements into technical output
