Job Description

We are looking for an AI / Prompt Engineer to own prompt engineering and AI workflow development for our product. This role combines prompt design and optimization with AI workflow architecture and orchestration, working closely with backend engineers to deliver reliable, production-ready AI experiences.

Requisitos

- 1–3 years of relevant experience.

- 2–4 demonstrable commercial projects, available online for review.

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms.

- Proven experience in prompt engineering, including system prompts, user prompts, multi-step workflows, and prompt optimization.

- Ability to design AI workflows and understand AI system architecture and orchestration flows.

- Basic familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript; production-level coding expertise is not required.

- Strong analytical and testing mindset for evaluating AI outputs.

- Excellent critical thinking, communication, collaboration, adaptability, and ownership, with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and customer impact.

Nice to Have

- Experience building AI solutions for consumer-facing web or mobile applications.

- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, prompt testing methodologies, and A/B testing — highly valued.

- Knowledge of AWS services such as DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, Cognito, or SageMaker.

- Background in Machine Learning, NLP, or Applied AI, either formal or self-taught.

Responsibilities

- Design, refine, maintain, and audit prompts for OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms, including system prompts, user prompts, and multi-step prompt chains.





- Optimize prompts for quality, consistency, performance, reliability, and alignment with product and user experience goals.

- Design and implement AI workflows and orchestration logic, including complex flows, edge cases, and user variability.

- Improve prompt structure, system messages, chaining strategies, and response validation.

- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI workflows into Node.js / TypeScript services.

- Test and evaluate prompt changes through structured experiments, real-world scenarios, and, when applicable, A/B testing.

- Define strategies for prompt versioning, testing, staging, and production deployment.

- Design guardrails, validation layers, and fallback strategies for AI-generated outputs.

- Stay current with LLM, prompt engineering, AI workflow, and AI system design best practices.
