Description

- Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and synchronize data into Algolia indices.
- Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes supporting search and content discovery use cases.
- Optimize indexing performance, data quality, and search relevance.
- Collaborate with application, product, and business teams to define search data requirements.
- Implement monitoring, governance, and validation processes for indexed data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data synchronization and search performance.
- Support integrations between Algolia and enterprise platforms, CMSs, eCommerce solutions, and customer-facing applications.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Algolia implementations and data integrations.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Spark, or similar technologies.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of APIs, JSON data structures, and real-time data processing.




- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
