POSITION DESCRIPTION – IMAGERY ANALYST
Job Title: Imagery Analyst
Reports to: Deployed Program Director
Classification: Exempt
Time Commitment: Full-Time Rotational
Location: Bogota, Colombia
Position Summary
The Imagery Analyst will work closely with the Deployed Program Director and LNOs, reporting status, any quality concerns and address other project related items. This position contributes as a team member to maintain high aircraft availability rates 365 days per year in the SOUTHCOM AOR.
Essential Functions
- The idóneo candidate will have experience reviewing and analyzing imagery of naval vessels and facilities and have experience working with geo-locational tools and applications.
- You will leverage existing imagery, all-source intelligence, and other source data to exploit, identify, monitor and analyze current and emerging trends, dynamic events and solve intelligence problems.
- Additionally, you will utilize your understanding of geospatial techniques to produce imagery-derived intelligence products and assessments.
- You will work in a dynamic fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.
Minimum Qualifications/ Education/Certifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must possess OR be eligible for a security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
- Must be able to maintain government eligibility requirements.
- Meet regional entry requirements for deployment.
- Must have a valid U.S. passport with no less than six months remaining.
- Must be willing and able to deploy OCONUS.
- Must be willing and able to work irregular hours in a military environment.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug test.
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography or Geographic Information Systems, or related degree.
- 2+ years’ relevant skill experience including the following: working in production teams, knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, and computer technology; knowledge of geographical information systems,
