We work directly with owners and leaders of growing construction businesses to strengthen their teams and hiring systems.Our clients rely on us as strategic partners to help them attract better talent, make stronger hiring decisions, and build more effective, accountable teams.The OpportunityAs a Team Building Specialist, you will work one-on-one with construction company owners and managers as their trusted advisor on hiring, team dynamics, and workforce planning. This is a fully remote, independent contractor role, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.M.4:00 p.M. Pacific Time.You will lead weekly client conversations, review real hiring pipelines, interpret assessment data, and turn your insights into clear, practical action plans that improve team performance and retention. If you enjoy client-facing work, asking thoughtful questions, and helping leaders make better people decisions, this role offers the chance to deepen your expertise in recruiting and team building while having a measurable impact on clients' businesses.What You'll DoLead weekly Zoom meetings with construction company owners and managers to review hiring needs, team challenges, and progress.Build strong, professional relationships with clients by actively listening, asking effective questions, and providing clear, practical recommendations.Review recruiting campaigns, resumes, applicant funnels, assessments,



and interview feedback to evaluate candidate fit for key roles.Interpret Wimbush and similar workplace assessments to help clients understand applicants, employees, and role requirements.Help clients identify workplace issues affecting productivity, communication, accountability, and retention, and co-create action plans to improve team effectiveness.What Success Looks LikeWithin the first 36 months, you are independently leading a full portfolio of weekly client meetings, with clients clearly valuing your insight and guidance.Clients consistently act on your hiring and team recommendations, resulting in better-quality hires, reduced mis-hires, and clearer role definitions.Action plans you develop with clients lead to visible improvements in communication, accountability, and team performance, as reflected in client feedback.Your client notes, recommendations, and follow-up activities are accurate, timely, and complete in company systems, enabling smooth collaboration with other Team Building Specialists.What We're Looking ForStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with business owners and leadership teams.Relationship-building and active-listening skills that help you quickly understand client needs and create trust.Proven ability to analyze information, ask focused questions, and turn observations into practical, actionable recommendations.Comfort working independently in a remote environment, staying organized, following through on commitments, and managing multiple client conversations each week.Compensation and BenefitsThe contract rate is $10.00$12.00 USD per hour after applicable Upwork freelancer fees.Independent contractor engagement (remote).Approximately 40 hours per week.MondayFriday, 8:00 a.M.4:00 p.M.
