This role is employed through RemoFirst, Porch Group's Employer of Record partner in Colombia. Your employment will be legally administered through RemoFirst, while your day-to-day work is led by Porch Group.
Job Summary The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love you to be a part of it as a Consumer Services Group Trainer
As a Consumer Services Group (CSG) Trainer, you will primarily be responsible for assisting with new hire training during the nesting period, providing the Trainer II with assistance as needed during new hire training as well as recurrent training, and helping to drive new hire and tenured agent performance.
You will work closely with Trainer IIs, management, and quality assurance to ensure all new hires and tenured agents perform to the best of their ability and reach monthly and weekly sales and retention goals.
Your success as a CSG Trainer will be tied to results-driven training and nesting initiatives, core company metrics (OKRs), and team member retention
What You Will Do As A Consumer Services Group Trainer
- Responsible for assisting the Trainer II with planning and facilitating onboarding of new team members and supporting existing team members with ongoing training and development programs.
- Manages the nesting phase of new hire training, assisting with questions as agents take calls for the first 1-2 weeks.
- Work closely with internal contributors to provide information and guidance with e-learning content and manage remote training programs for CSG teams.
- Work with Managers and the Quality Assurance team to establish rhythms around development and coaching.
- Provide ongoing skill development sessions for tenured agents
- Required phone time to assist with service levels when new hire classes are not in progress
- Attend team meetings with the Managers and the Quality Assurance team to review team performance against goals and set commitments for improvements.
- Conduct remote training through Microsoft Teams for new and tenured team members
- Communicate class progress on attendance, behavior, skillsets, and sales consistently through the training and nesting period.
- Conduct widespread recurrent training and new product/partner training when new hire classes are not in session
- Support training initiatives for 1-2 teams across CSG as needed
What You Will Bring As A Consumer Services Group Trainer
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, or in place of degree, equivalent education, training, and work-related experience
- 2+ years of leading trainings in a remote learning setting
- 2+ years of training, coaching,
and developing sales or customer service teams
- 2+ years of experience creating educational presentations through PowerPoint, Canva, Google slides, or another presentation software
- Proficient in Microsoft programs such as: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Forms.
- Skilled in public speaking and facilitating large groups remotely
- Expert problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt as needed
- Strong working knowledge of sales development and best practices
- Willing to work a adaptable schedule to fit the needs of the business and new hire schedules
- Competence working with e-learning software and learning management system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A passion for developing people to be excellent individual contributors and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask as and when required
