Epik is a Design/Build Contractor working on U.S. Government projects around the world. We’re looking for a locally based Procurement Officer to support purchasing for our U.S. Embassy Bogotá renovation project. The role will work closely with the site team and central purchasing department to source materials and services, coordinate orders, and maintain complete purchasing records.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect material and service requests from the site team, confirming specifications, quantities, and required delivery dates.
- Identify local suppliers, obtain competitive quotations, and prepare price and delivery comparisons.
- Negotiate commercial terms, follow up on internal approvals, and prepare purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Track orders and deliveries, flag potential delays, and coordinate solutions with suppliers and the site team.




- Maintain organized records of requisitions, quotations, approvals, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Coordinate with the site and accounting teams to resolve delivery and invoice discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

- At least three years of purchasing experience in construction or building materials.
- Familiarity with suppliers and the construction materials market in Bogotá.
- Technical qualification or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience maintaining purchasing records.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Fluent Spanish; working English is required.
- Available to work on site in Bogotá.

Work Authorization Requirement:

- Candidate must be able to pass project/site access, background, and security vetting requirements.
- Employment will be subject to successful completion of applicable project access procedures.
