About the Role

Ace Link Solutions is looking for a Training Specialist to take ownership of training, onboarding, SOPs, and operational knowledge across the organization.

The Training Specialist will combine U.S. trucking operational expertise with training, SOP development, and process management. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with an asset-based carrier/private fleet and be able to translate operational knowledge into practical training, clear procedures, and effective training materials.

The position will support both Ace Link Solutions and its client operations, ensuring that new and existing employees have the knowledge, tools, procedures, and information required to perform their roles effectively.

You will work closely with leadership and department leaders to gather information, document processes, develop training materials, and ensure that teams are properly trained, informed, aligned, and working from the same playbook.

What You'll DoAce Link Onboarding &

- Training

- Own the onboarding and initial training process for new employees joining Ace Link Solutions.
- Provide new employees with an introduction to Ace Link, the office, company culture, structure, expectations, policies, and general ways of working.
- Ensure new employees understand the tools, systems, communication channels, procedures, and resources they need to perform their jobs.
- Coordinate with department leaders to ensure each new employee receives the appropriate role-specific training.
- Develop and maintain a structured onboarding program that can be adapted as Ace Link grows.
- Identify additional training or information that new employees need to successfully integrate into the organization.
- Conduct refresher and general company training when processes, systems, policies, or expectations change.

Department & • Operational Training
- Conduct training for new hires and existing employees across Customer Service, Load Planning, Driver Recruiting, Maintenance, and other departments as the organization grows.
- Develop onboarding and ongoing training programs based on the requirements of each department.




- Identify knowledge gaps and create training plans to address them.
- Ensure employees understand not only what to do, but why the process exists and how it impacts the operation.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas where additional training or coaching is needed.
- Adapt training methods and materials to different departments, roles, and levels of experience.

SOPs & • Process Documentation
- Create clear and detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for company and operational processes.
- Maintain and regularly update existing SOPs.
- Work with leadership and department leaders to document processes that are unclear, incomplete, or not formally documented.
- Ensure SOPs accurately reflect current procedures and expectations.
- Identify outdated procedures and proactively recommend improvements.
- Maintain organized documentation so employees can easily access the information they need.

Leadership & • Information Gathering
- Work directly with Ace Link and AGM leadership to gather information about processes, expectations, changes, and new initiatives.
- Ask the right questions to obtain the details required to properly document and train a process.
- Translate leadership expectations into clear and practical SOPs and training materials.
- Communicate process changes to all affected teams and ensure the appropriate training is provided.
- Help maintain consistency between leadership expectations and day-to-day execution.
- Ensure employees across different departments are working from the same information, processes, and expectations.

Training Materials & • Knowledge Management
- Create training manuals, guides, presentations, checklists, process maps, and other learning materials.
- Maintain an organized and updated library of training materials and SOPs.




- Ensure employees are always working with the most current information and procedures.
- Continuously improve training materials based on operational changes, employee feedback, and identified knowledge gaps.
- Establish a structured approach to maintaining and distributing updated training information.

What We're Looking ForRequired:

- Proven professional experience in U.S. trucking and logistics operations.
- Direct experience with an asset-based carrier / private fleet is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of U.S. trucking operations, including load planning, drivers, HOS, equipment, appointments, tracking, customer requirements, and day-to-day fleet operations.
- Experience creating or maintaining SOPs, training materials, or operational documentation.
- Strong English communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and explain them clearly.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the training function.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with employees across different departments and levels of the organization.
