The role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who has worked on the implementation of modern enterprise Data Platforms and understands the complete lifecycle of data: ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, quality, security, governance and consumption.

The candidate should combine strong hands-on engineering capabilities with an understanding of why Data Quality, Governance, traceability, and standardization are critical in a regulated international organization.

Role Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to support enterprise-wide data integration, processing, and analytics initiatives.
- Build and optimize data workflows using Python, SQL, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, ensuring high performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain data quality controls, automated validations, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Data Governance, security, and regulatory requirements, while supporting the adoption of data management best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team, driving the evolution of the organization's data platform strategy and positioning data as a key enabler for business growth, innovation, and informed decision-making.

Minimum Requirements





- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering for a Senior profile.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise Data pipelines.
- Solid experience working with Python, SQL, and relational database knowledge.
- Experience with Apache Airflow or equivalent enterprise orchestration technology.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
- Experience working with modern Data Platforms, Data Lakes, or Data Fabric architectures.
- Strong understanding of Data Quality principles.
- Experience implementing automated controls, validations, and monitoring within Data pipelines.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with Data Governance and security requirements.
- Professional English enabling interaction with international teams.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with Starburst / Trino and modern data platform technologies.
- Strong Java development skills.
- Experience with Collibra and enterprise Data Governance solutions.
- Knowledge of Data Cataloging, Metadata Management, and Data Lineage practices.
- Experience defining and implementing Data Governance standards and controls.
- Industry experience within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Exposure to regulated environments with strong compliance and data protection requirements.
- Experience supporting regional or integral data platforms across multiple countries.




- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to drive initiatives, mentor teams, and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
