Are you a QA engineering professional who isn't satisfied with just "making things work" and loves leveraging software development to prevent bugs before they happen. At SunDevs, we are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong development skills, ready to take purposeful autonomy over the test strategy for a complex multi-channel digital platform.

Your Mission

Own and lead the overall quality strategy, test automation, and reliable software delivery across mobile, web, CMS, APIs, and Voice AI agent channels. You will combine software engineering practices with quality assurance to ensure flawless, production-ready releases.

Responsibilities

- Test Strategy & Quality Ownership: Define, implement, and maintain the test strategy across mobile apps, Next.js web applications, CMS platforms, APIs, and Voice AI experiences.
- Automation Engineering & Development: Write, optimize, and maintain automated test suites using React Native and Next.js codebases alongside modern frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Detox, Appium).
- Code-Level Debugging: Inspect application code written in React Native and Next.js, partnering with developers to perform root-cause analysis and resolve bugs at the source.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable feedback.
- End-to-End Testing: Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and E2E tests for complex ordering flows,



checkout, payments, and loyalty integrations (PAR, Punchh).
- API & Integration Testing: Conduct deep API testing, validating error handling, retries, timeouts, and unexpected edge-case responses.
- Go-Live Preparation: Support UAT, app store submission hardening, and production-readiness testing.

Requirements

- Experience: 3- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and frontend/mobile software development.
- Development Skills: Hands-on development experience in React Native (mobile) and Next.js / React (web).
- Automation Frameworks: Strong expertise with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Detox, Appium, or similar tools.
- API Testing & CI/CD: Solid experience with API testing (Postman, Insomnia, or custom scripts) and CI/CD integration.
- Complex Integrations: Experience testing third-party integrations, payment gateways, e-commerce, or transactional platforms.
- Languages: Fluent English, both spoken and written (mandatory requirement).5. Nice to Have / Competencies
