? We’re Hiring: Project Cost Coordinator

? Remote — Colombia | Full-Time

? USD $1,500–$2,000/month, depending on experience

CPS is looking for a fully bilingual Project Cost Coordinator to track project expenses, verify employee company-card transactions, and validate subcontractor hours before payment.

We need someone who takes ownership, questions discrepancies, and follows through until they are resolved.

What you’ll do:

- Track project expenses, including labor, materials, equipment rentals, and travel.
- Reconcile employee company-card transactions against receipts, credit card and bank statements, and our project tracking systems.
- Verify each expense is supported, accurate, and assigned to the correct project.
- Identify missing receipts, duplicate charges, incorrect project allocations, and unapproved expenses.
- Validate subcontractor hours against timesheets, site attendance, project records, and PM approvals; confirm agreed rates and resolve discrepancies before submitting for payment approval.
- Verify vendor invoices against approved quotes, agreements, and purchase orders.
- Monitor spending against project budgets and flag potential overruns.
- Work with employees, PMs, subcontractors, vendors, and accounting to resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly reports on project costs, outstanding documentation, and items requiring approval.





What you’ll bring:

- At least 2 years of experience in expense reconciliation, accounts payable, job costing, or a similar role.
- Experience reconciling company-card transactions and validating timesheets or labor invoices.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and independent follow-through.
- Accounting software experience; QuickBooks and experience supporting U.S. companies are a plus.

Work requirements:

- Based in Colombia and available during U.S. Eastern business hours.
- Reliable internet: minimum 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload, plus backup connectivity.
- Availability for required travel to the United States for training, with appropriate visa or travel authorization before departure.
