Onboarding Specialist (Remote – Colombia)

Location: Remote, Colombia

Schedule: Must be able to support U.S. business hours.

Must have prior experience working with U.S. onboarding processes.

Tek Ninjas is seeking a fully bilingual English/Spanish Onboarding Specialist to support our U.S. staffing operations. This role is adecuado for a detail-oriented, candidate-focused professional who can manage onboarding activities from offer acceptance through assignment start, while ensuring a responsive and smooth candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout onboarding and offboarding.
- Conduct candidate follow-ups by phone and email in English and Spanish.
- Coordinate and track pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, I-9 verification, and required documentation.
- Review onboarding documents for completeness and follow up promptly on missing information.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and documentation in internal systems.
- Partner with recruiters,



account managers, HR, and external vendors to resolve onboarding issues and meet start-date timelines.
- Support offboarding activities and ensure documentation is completed and recorded appropriately.
- Provide clear, professional, and timely updates to candidates and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Experience in candidate onboarding in the US, HR coordination, staffing, recruiting operations, or a related role.
- Familiarity with onboarding processes, including background checks, drug screening, and I-9 documentation.
- Strong organization, follow-up, communication, and documentation skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple candidates, deadlines, and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and able to learn applicant tracking or HR systems quickly.
