About Mira Mira is a San Francisco-based hormonal health company that's helped over 350,000 women test, track, and navigate their hormones, from fertility through perimenopause and everyday wellness.
Our fluorescent hormone-testing technology is unique on the market: instead of a simple positive/negative line, it gives you a real, quantitative lab reading at home, validated against the gold-standard ultrasound and used in studies across 50+ universities and by 5,000+ healthcare professionals. We built Mira on one principle: personalized care backed by science, not guesswork.
About The Role We're hiring a Lifecycle Copywriter (Women's Health) to write for our owned channels — email, in-app, and website — across the full customer lifecycle, from a lead's first nurture touch through onboarding, retention, and win-back. Your job is sharp, high-quality execution and channel-level creative experimentation: subject lines that break pattern, product descriptions that make hearts resonate, copy that's scannable, human, and deep — never vague filler.
This seat reports to the new Head of Copy and sits alongside a Paid Channels copywriter as part of Mira's restructured copy team.
If you want to challenge yourself at a high-growth startup and make a difference for women's health, please join us!
Requirements
- 3+ years of copywriting experience, with real hands-on time in email/lifecycle marketing (Klaviyo or equivalent ESP).
- A portfolio showing range across email, in-app, and product copy — not just one channel.
- A track record of testing and iterating against real performance data, not just intuition.
- Native or native-level English.
- Comfortable with tight character limits and UI constraints.
- Basic Figma literacy for cross-team collaboration.
- Nice-to-have: wellness, beauty, or femtech background.
Details The role is a remote FT position with flexible working hours.
Responsibilities
- Own email, SMS,
and in-app writing across the full lifecycle for every segment: fertility, perimenopause, wellness, and beyond.
- Jump into other writing projects that go beyond classic formats — think a sex-ed guide, petition copy, a campaign video script, or a partnership article.
- Work from the brand's messaging libraries, adapting product messaging to the sharpest channel-specific needs.
- Test and iterate constantly: subject lines, flows, send cadence — and read the data to know what's actually working.
- Handle the recurring, calendar-driven work (routine sends, ongoing flows) in a timely, fast, and organized way.
- Work with AI efficiently to speed up, automate, and push limits while staying critical enough to keep every piece of copy sounding genuinely human.
- Understand the compliance challenges around medical device products: you don't have to be an FDA/FTC expert, but you should be willing to learn fast and strike the right balance between bold and compliant, even before the legal review.
