The adecuado candidate has hands-on experience working in a medical office and is highly comfortable using AdvancedMD. Strong communication skills and professional English and Spanish communication are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and manage inbound patient calls professionally and efficientlySchedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointmentsComplete new patient intake and collect required informationVerify patient insurance and eligibilityProcess and follow up on medication prior authorizationsCommunicate with pharmacies regarding medication prior authorizationsManage incoming and outgoing faxesRespond to patient questions and provide appropriate assistanceMaintain accurate patient records and documentationSupport daily front-desk and administrative operationsCommunicate effectively with patients in both English and SpanishRequirementsPrevious medical office experience – requiredHands-on AdvancedMD experience – requiredBilingual in English and SpanishClear, professional Spanish communication and strong verbal communication skillsExperience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and new patient intakeExperience handling medication prior authorizations and pharmacy follow-upsComfortable managing fax communications and patient documentationExperience with FreedomVoice is preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environmentProfessional, patient-focused, and reliablePreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a pain management, specialty, or similar medical practiceExperience using FreedomVoiceFamiliarity with medication authorization workflows and pharmacy communicationWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who can confidently manage front-desk responsibilities, communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking patients, and work independently within a U.S. medical practice environment.
