Editor - Video (Bilingual)

JOB SUMMARY

Omnicom Production is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Localization Editor to support the adaptation and delivery of content for global and regional markets. This role is responsible for localizing existing video assets, ensuring technical accuracy, maintaining brand consistency, and delivering high-quality content across multiple channels and platforms.

The idóneo candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment, has strong editorial and technical skills, and is experienced in managing high-volume workflows. You will collaborate closely with producers, animators, designers, and post-production teams to ensure seamless execution of localization projects from ingestion through final delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Apply advanced video editing techniques to adapt and localize audiovisual content for multiple international markets.
- Manage high-volume video exports while performing detailed quality control checks to identify and resolve technical, visual, audio, and language-related issues.
- Integrate localized graphics, supers, legal copy, and other creative assets into final timelines.
- Ingest, transcode, organize, and manage incoming media assets according to project requirements.
- Support creative editors and post-production teams throughout the localization and adaptation process.
- Maintain efficient workflows and ensure a smooth localization pipeline across multiple simultaneous projects.
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry-standard file formats, delivery specifications, and workflows, including XML, OMF, TIFF, and other production formats.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client, platform, and broadcast specifications.
- Execute final mastering and export processes for digital, social, online, and broadcast channels.
- Collaborate with producers, creatives, directors, and clients during review and approval sessions.




- Implement best practices for large-scale localization and commercial versioning projects.
- Partner with creative teams to solve production challenges while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Work closely with post-production teams, including Animators, audio engineers, producers, and creative stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, editing technologies, and post-production workflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional experience in video editing, localization, post-production, finishing, or agency environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals, including cutting, pacing, transitions, storytelling, and timeline management.
- Experience performing audio adjustments, basic color correction, mastering, and final file preparation.
- Ability to adapt global creative assets for multiple markets and digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional quality control and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.
- Experience validating framing, aspect ratios, and technical requirements against delivery specifications.
- Knowledge of file management, transcoding, media preparation, and asset organization workflows.
- Familiarity with localization, versioning, and adaptation processes for international campaigns.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional creative and production teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with global brands and multilingual content.
- Basic animation and motion graphics skills within Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of audio mixing and finishing workflows.
- Experience supporting commercial, digital, broadcast, and social media productions.
- Familiarity with content localization tools and enterprise production workflows.
- Understanding of emerging trends in content production, post-production, and digital media.
