IBM AS/400 Consultant to support, maintain, and enhance applications running on the IBM i (AS/400) platform. The idóneo candidate will have strong experience with
RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2, SQL
, and IBM i environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the
IBM AS/400 / IBM i platform.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain programs using
RPG/RPGLE, Free-Form RPG, CL/CLLE, and SQLRPGLE
.
- Work with
DB2 for i databases, including queries, stored procedures, and data maintenance.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support.
- Perform application debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain interfaces/APIs between IBM i applications and external systems.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and release activities.
- Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Support modernization and integration initiatives involving IBM i applications.
