The Secondary Band Teacher provides engaging, high-quality instrumental music instruction that develops students’ musicianship, technical skills, creativity, and appreciation for music. The teacher directs band ensembles, plans standards-aligned instruction, and supports students across a range of abilities and experience levels. Responsibilities include preparing students for concerts and performances while building a collaborative and inclusive ensemble culture. The teacher assesses student growth, provides meaningful feedback, and encourages individual and collective excellence. Effective collaboration and communication with students, families, colleagues, and the broader school community are essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong musicianship,



effective ensemble leadership, and a commitment to student-centered learning and the school’s mission and values.

Requerimientos:

? Degree in Music Education, Fine Arts, or a related field

? Master’s Degree in Music Education or related fields (preferred)

⏳ Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience directing band ensembles

?️ Bilingual proficiency – C1 level in English

? Demonstrated expertise in instrumental music instruction and ensemble leadership
