TheInternal Audit (IA) Function provides independent and objective assurance andadvisory services to enhance governance, risk management, and internal controlsacross the Alliance, in accordance with the Internal Audit Charter and theGlobal Internal Audit Standards (GIAS). This position supports the delivery ofthe approved risk-based internal audit plan and the Integrated Assurance Model.

The role is responsible for planning and executing risk-based auditengagements, evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management, andcontrol processes, and delivering clear, practical recommendations thatstrengthen organizational performance, accountability, and continuousimprovement.

The role conducts reviews, assurance engagements,and advisory engagements across offices, projects, and functional units, inaccordance with the approved audit plan, identifying improvement opportunitiesand delivering practical recommendations that support organizational objectivesand compliance requirements.





The position will be based in the operations center of the Americas, located in Palmira Campus,Colombia.

KeyResponsibilities
- Contributes to the design, planning,and execution of risk-based audit work plans, carrying out fieldwork, andexecuting professional audit tasks that support the implementation of auditengagements across operational, financial, compliance, and programmaticprocesses.
- Engage effectively with auditees,management, subject-matter specialists, and other internal and externalstakeholders to facilitate audit activities, obtain relevant information, andsupport the successful delivery of audit engagements.
- Maintain professional independence,objectivity, integrity, and confidentiality in accordance with the InternalAudit Charter, and General Internal Audit Standards (GIAS), avoiding operationalresponsibilities in areas under review.
