Position Summary

Pond is seeking an experienced Plumbing/Piping Engineer with Data Center experience to join our growing team in Bogotá, Colombia. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in the design and delivery of mission-critical mechanical systems for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. This individual will play a key role in developing efficient, resilient, and sustainable cooling and mechanical infrastructure that supports continuous operations in critical environments.





The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery, from planning and conceptual design through construction support, commissioning, and facility turnover.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the plumbing and piping systems design for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
- Develop mechanical calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents.
- Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, civil, architectural, and telecommunications disciplines.
- Participate in model and design reviews, and quality assurance processes.
- Support construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, site observations, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
