Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Programes and the direct supervision of the Emergency Coordinator, the Senior Shelter and Settlements Cluster Associate will support coordination and monitoring of the administrative, operational and information-management activities that support the National Shelter and Settlements Cluster in Colombia. The incumbent will support effective liaison with Cluster partners, government counterparts, humanitarian actors and other stakeholders; monitor implementation of agreed activities and workplans; analyse operational information; and provide recommendations for consideration within the Cluster.
Working closely with Cluster members and other humanitarian coordination mechanisms, the incumbent will follow up on agreed actions and compile, analyse and present information related to emergency preparedness, shelter and site management, population movements, community engagement, referral pathways and cross-sector linkages.
