About the Role

The Weekend Ops Representative is responsible for managing the continuous movement of freight,

tracking active loads, and resolving critical logistics issues. This role plays a critical part in ensuring

carriers and customers are being serviced over the weekend.

Core Responsibilities:




- Providing carrier options for weekend bounces.
- Negotiate and manage rate agreements and service contracts with a focus on cost control and carrier performance.
- Managing load postings and carrier interest.

2. Execution
- Oversee end-to-end load planning for brokerage freight, ensuring optimal service
- Following up with carriers to ensure pickup and deliveries are met on time.
- Escalating issues to the manager.

3. Carrier Onboarding and Vetting
- Ensure all carrier compliance, safety regulations, and documentation is met.
- Identify, vet, and onboard new motor carriers to build a robust carrier network.

4. Load Tracking
- Monitor shipments to provide proactive updates and ensure on time pickup and deliveries are met.
- Resolve issues such as delays and cancellations by collaborating with account management
- System updates, entering load data to maintain accurate records in the TMS.
