The role.
Huge is looking for a Director, Quality Engineering to lead and evolve our globally distributed QA practice from our Bogota, Colombia office. In this role, you will help shape and grow a team of 75+ QA professionals across four countries, drive the transition from manual-heavy testing to AI-augmented quality engineering, and build the methodology and frameworks that make quality a continuous, intelligent capability woven across the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll be doing.
- Define and advance an AI-native quality engineering strategy that treats quality as a continuous discipline, not a phase. Build the frameworks, maturity models, and tooling standards that make this real across four integral offices.
- Lead the shift from manual to AI-augmented automated testing across web, mobile, and API. Set direction on tooling selection, automation architecture, and what good looks like at scale.
- Embed quality across the full SDLC. Partner with engineering, product, design, and BA leadership to introduce AI-powered quality gates and shift-left practices at design, development, integration, and release stages.
