Amakuna is a dynamic, fast-growing, and award-winning travel company organizing tailor-made holidays within Colombia for our international clientele. We are passionate about showing our clients the very best of Colombia and we are hiring for a full-time position to fulfill the role of Travel Coordinator. The successful applicant's responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with our suppliers and partners to make the bookings and reservations for our clients' itineraries. This will include hotel reservations, flight bookings and organizing guides, and private ground transportation.
- Assisting in the itinerary design process to optimize our clients' holidays within Colombia and provide them with the best possible experience.
- Developing and strengthening relationships with new and existing suppliers, such as new hotels, specialist guides, and local experts.
- Running back-office systems including payments.

The position is very hands-on and the successful candidate will be:
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.




- Self-disciplined, hard-working, and able to work without supervision.
- An excellent communicator.
- Extremely responsible and trustworthy.
- Passionate about travel and showing the best of Colombia to the outside world.
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of our client's needs.
- Experienced in working within the travel industry in Colombia (preferred).

The compensation for this position is made up of a fixed salary and variable commission. The total monthly compensation will range from approximately COP 4.700.000 to COP 6.000.000 depending on experience and business performance. Hybrid: Mondays - Thursdays On-Site and Fridays From Home.
