Position Title: Spanish Language Interpreter (Spanish + English)

Location: Remote

Pay: $6/hour

Language Requirement: Spanish (Fluent/Native) and English (Fluent/Professional Working Proficiency).

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Spanish Language Interpreter to facilitate accurate and effective communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking stakeholders. The interpreter will provide real-time interpretation services while maintaining confidentiality, accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism across various interactions.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation between Spanish and English.
- Interpret conversations accurately without omitting, adding, or altering the meaning of the original message.
- Facilitate communication during customer service interactions, business meetings, healthcare discussions, legal proceedings, and other professional settings.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all interpreted information.
- Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity while interpreting conversations.
- Clarify and relay information accurately when necessary.
- Follow established interpreting protocols, quality standards, and compliance requirements.




- Document and report call or assignment details as required.
- Manage challenging conversations professionally while remaining neutral and unbiased.
- Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.

Required Qualifications

- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of interpretation, translation, customer service, or bilingual communication experience preferred.
- Ability to interpret accurately and impartially in real-time.
- Strong understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures and regional language variations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and communication platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional Interpreter Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience in Medical or Customer Support Interpretation.
- Prior experience with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI).
- Familiarity with interpretation ethics and confidentiality standards.
