Server Support Architect

Wissen Technology is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join an international project and provide L3 technical support and leadership across enterprise network services.

IMPORTANT ENGLISH REQUIREMENT

Conversational English is a mandatory requirement for this position.

The candidate will work 100% in English, as all day-to-day communication, meetings, technical discussions, documentation, and collaboration will be conducted in English with international teams.

Candidates must be comfortable communicating verbally in English in a professional and technical environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud network services, including Azure and AWS.
- Provide L3 support for incidents, changes, problems, and major incidents, including root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switching and routing technologies.
- Work with VLANs, STP, stacks, redundancy, BGP, OSPF, ACLs, QoS, and NetFlow.
- Engineer and administer SolarWinds, including discovery, polling, alerts, dashboards, reports, NCM configuration management, compliance, and platform health.
- Support Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama, including routing, VPN, and NAT.




- Support Meraki networking and wireless solutions.
- Work with Aruba ClearPass, RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, and certificate-based authentication.
- Develop and improve processes using PowerShell and automation.
- Lead and mentor L2 engineers.
- Maintain technical standards, runbooks, and network documentation.
- Coordinate technical resolution with integral teams, carriers, vendors, and managed service providers.
- Participate in planned after-hours maintenance and on-call support when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of enterprise networking experience.
- Conversational/Professional English. This is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of SolarWinds.
- Experience with PowerShell and automation.
- Practical knowledge of SQL/SWQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- CCNP Enterprise certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with international teams in a 100% English-speaking environment.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
