About the Role A general consumer health organisation is seeking a Marketing Controlling Analyst to partner closely with Marketing and Finance teams and support data-driven commercial decision-making.
The role focuses on marketing investment performance, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering , while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as a Finance business partner and provide financial support to Marketing teams.
- Challenge business assumptions and develop alternative financial scenarios.
- Help stakeholders understand profitability, financial concepts and compliance requirements.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across Marketing and Finance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Monitor the financial performance of marketing investments against budget.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, analysis and performance insights.
- Participate actively in forecasting and planning processes.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and work with stakeholders to develop action plans.
- Support teams in achieving budget and financial targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, Shopper, Revenue Growth Management, Trade and Marketing teams.
- Provide financial insights to support effective business decisions.
- Identify key business drivers behind financial performance and translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
Compliance & Controls
- Monitor compliance requirements and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Support and maintain required SOX controls .
- Help ensure financial processes and marketing investments meet internal policies and control requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant Finance experience , ideally in:
- Marketing Controlling
- Sales Controlling
- FP&A;
- Commercial Finance
- A related financial analysis role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel .
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial modelling capabilities.
- Good understanding of business drivers and the ability to connect financial results with commercial performance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
- Curious, proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong team-player mindset and willingness to learn.
