HR Employee Relations & Workers’ Compensation Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Employee Relations & Workers’ Compensation Specialist to join our team in Medellín.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who has hands-on experience managing employee relations matters and workers’ compensation cases and is interested in applying that experience in a U.S.-focused environment.

You will work closely with HR teams and managers to help manage employee concerns, workplace cases, documentation, workers’ compensation processes, and return-to-work activities.

What You'll Do

- Support with Employee Relations and Workers’ Compensation cases.
- Handle and document employee concerns, workplace issues, and HR cases.
- Assist with investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, workplace incidents, and other employee relations matters.
- Coordinate workers’ compensation cases and communicate with employees, managers, insurance representatives, and other involved parties.
- Track case status, documentation, medical restrictions, and return-to-work information.
- Support managers with employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee and case records.
- Follow established HR processes, policies, and documentation requirements.
- Communicate professionally with U.S.-based teams and employees.
- Help identify recurring employee relations or workplace issues and escalate matters when appropriate.

What We're Looking For




- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Workers’ Compensation and Employee Relations.
- Experience handling employee concerns, workplace cases, investigations, or disciplinary matters.
- Experience supporting or coordinating workers’ compensation claims.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based managers and HR teams.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Comfortable working with U.S. business processes and schedules.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn HR systems and case-management tools.
