We are seeking a HR Business Partner to join our HR team and play a key role in creating a positive employee experience. In this role, you will support HR initiatives and employee relations while partnering closely with the HR Director, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive company growth and reinforce our values.
You will contribute to building a culture of engagement, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Support
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Assist in resolving workplace issues fairly, consistently, and in alignment with company policies.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
HR Programs & Initiatives
- Collaborate with the HR team to implement HR programs, including:
- Performance management
- Career development
- Employee engagement initiatives
- Actively promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous growth.
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Support a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and training.
- Conduct exit interviews, collect feedback, and provide recommendations to improve retention.
Compliance & Data Management
- Ensure HR practices comply with all applicable federal and state labor laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Assist with HR data analysis to support decision-making and strategy.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Gather employee feedback through surveys and interactions.
- Use insights to propose improvements that enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with HR and operations teams to strengthen engagement and culture.
Recruitment Support
- Work closely with recruiters to support staffing needs and hiring processes.
Regional Support & Travel
- Provide HR support across various locations on the East Coast as needed.
- Travel within districts or out of state when required (approximately 40%–50%).
Requirements (Hard Skills)
- 3–5 years of general experience in Human Resources or a related field. (required)
- Prior experience supporting U.S.-based companies and managing HR responsibilities for the U.S. (required). - 1 to 2 years on USA (required)
- Must have valid visa and full availability to travel within the U.S. and internationally as needed. - preferred
- Familiarity with HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of U.S. federal and state labor laws.
- Ability to work with children and teens (as applicable to the business context).
- Ability to work weekends and holidays with open availability.
