Role Description The Bookkeeper role at Slate Brands is a full-time remote position responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records across the company’s portfolio of brands. Day-to-day tasks include recording and posting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and preparing basic financial reports to support month-end and year-end close processes. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, track expenses,



and ensure proper documentation and coding in the accounting software.

This role will collaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance with internal controls. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

- Strong bookkeeping and Finance skills, with experience managing day-to-day accounting operations.
- Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements to support reporting and decision-making.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and systems, with experience posting and reconciling Journal Entries (Accounting).
- Excellent numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in retail, beauty, or consumer brands is beneficial.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
