Bilingual Cost Estimator – Remote | Full-Time | Independent Contractor | U.S. Eastern Time

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Cost Estimator to support a U.S.-based construction team working on projects in the Florida market.

This is a fully remote position for someone who has hands-on experience reviewing construction plans, performing quantity takeoffs, sourcing material and subcontractor pricing, and preparing accurate estimates and bids.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working independently, and familiar with Florida construction costs and market conditions.

Position Details

- Contract: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
- Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST
- Location: Remote

What You'll Do
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on construction plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Research, request, and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare bids, proposals, and detailed cost breakdowns.
- Update estimates when project scope, plans, or specifications change.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information in project documents.
- Work closely with Project Managers, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Help ensure estimates are accurate, competitive,



and aligned with Florida market conditions.

What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on construction estimating experience.
- Direct experience estimating construction projects in Florida.
- Strong understanding of Florida labor, material, and subcontractor pricing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience with quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with estimating/takeoff software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Comfortable collaborating with a remote team during U.S. business hours.

Preferred Experience Experience with tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, or similar estimating platforms is a plus.
