We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Bilingual Accountant (Spanish–English) to lead and strengthen the accounting and financial processes of our business group in Medellín.

This role is adecuado for someone who can work closely with management, oversee multiple companies, ensure accurate and timely financial information, and confidently communicate in English when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the accounting processes for assigned companies.
- Prepare and review monthly accounting closings.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Prepare, review, and file national and local tax obligations.
- Oversee payroll, social security contributions, employee benefits, and related reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage electronic invoicing and supporting documents.
- Maintain and supervise accounting records in SIIGO.
- Ensure proper organization and traceability of accounting documentation.
- Coordinate requirements from DIAN, financial institutions, suppliers, and third parties.
- Support audits and financial review processes.
- Prepare accounting and financial reports for management and shareholders.
- Communicate in English with partners, investors, suppliers, and other stakeholders when required.

Requirements:





- Degree in Public Accounting.
- Valid Colombian professional accounting license/card.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles with significant responsibility.
- English level B2 or higher, with the ability to participate in professional conversations and write business emails.
- Strong experience using SIIGO.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Colombian taxation, payroll, social security, and accounting regulations.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential financial information.
- Experience managing accounting for multiple companies is highly valued.

? Salary: COP $6,500,000 per month + all statutory employment benefits
