We’re Hiring: AI / Prompt Engineer

We are looking for an AI / Prompt Engineer to take ownership of prompt engineering and AI workflow development for a growing product.

This role combines prompt design, optimization, and AI workflow orchestration , working closely with backend engineers to build reliable, production-ready AI experiences.

? What you’ll do

- Design, refine, and maintain prompts for OpenAI APIs and LLM platforms .
- Audit existing prompts for quality, consistency, performance, and reliability.
- Improve system prompts, user prompts, chaining, and response validation.
- Design and implement AI workflows and orchestration logic .
- Identify and handle edge cases and user variability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers integrating AI workflows into Node.js / TypeScript services.
- Test and evaluate prompt changes through structured experiments and real-world scenarios.
- Define strategies for prompt versioning, testing, and deployment.
- Help build guardrails, validation layers, and fallback strategies for AI outputs.
- Stay up to date with best practices in LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI system design.

? Requirements

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, or related areas.




- 2–4 demonstrable commercial AI projects available online for review.
- Strong experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms .
- Proven experience with prompt engineering , including system prompts, user prompts, and multi-step workflows.
- Ability to design and understand AI workflows and architectural flows .
- Basic familiarity with Node.js and TypeScript . Production-level coding is not required.
- Strong analytical and testing mindset when evaluating AI outputs.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and ownership.

? Nice to Have

- Experience building AI systems for consumer-facing web or mobile applications .
- Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks, prompt testing, or A/B testing .
- Familiarity with AWS services such as DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, Cognito, or SageMaker .
- Background in Machine Learning, NLP, or Applied AI , either formally or through self-directed learning.
