Experience in scholarly activities.Teaching Qualification: The successful candidate must also be able to teach in one or more of the following areas: Clinical exercise physiology and/or cardiovascular physiology Functional anatomy General exercise science/exercise physiology. Specific instructional assignments will depend upon Department needs and priorities.Preferred QualificationsTwo or more years of full-time teaching at the college or university level in an area directly related to Kinesiology or sports medicine, and the job description. Teaching experience at the graduate level.Ability to advise students towards clinical careers such as clinical exercise physiology, physical therapy, athletic training, or other clinical health professions.PhD with clinical experience and/or research experience in one of the following areas: Clinical exercise physiology with a focus on EKG interpretation; Cardiovascular physiology; Functional anatomy; Sports Medicine.Appropriate professional certifications and/or licenses. Examples include: Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and/or other appropriate certification or license in the area of clinical exercise physiology. American Physical Therapy Association.Experience performing research at the R2 level and scholarly activities.Evidence of seeking and/or acquiring external funding.
