Overview of the role The Senior WebRTC Engineer will be responsible for leading real-time communication initiatives and building sophisticated streaming solutions. This role involves designing scalable architectures, mentoring engineering teams, and setting the standard for WebRTC engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

- Designing and implementing complex real-time communication systems using WebRTC technology.
- Leading technical decisions and providing guidance on WebRTC architecture and media streaming.
- Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers in WebRTC best practices and optimization techniques.
- Collaborating with frontend, backend, and infrastructure teams to deliver quality streaming solutions.
- Driving performance optimization for video, audio, and data streaming across network conditions.
- Evaluating and implementing emerging WebRTC standards and technologies to enhance communication capabilities.

Requirements

- WebRTC Development: 4+ years of hands-on experience in WebRTC or real-time communications.
- Protocols and Media Servers: Strong expertise in WebRTC protocols, signaling servers,



and media server technologies.
- Technical Stack: Extensive experience with JavaScript, WebRTC APIs, and streaming infrastructure.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering teams.
- Deep Knowledge: Deep understanding of network protocols, codecs, performance optimization, and real-time communication challenges.
- Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
