Liberty Mutual is building advanced cyber risk and pricing capabilities to support profitable growth in one of insurance's fastest-growing segments. Cyber risk brings unique challenges due to evolving threats, limited history and highly interconnected exposures that call for new approaches to assessment, pricing and underwriting decisions.
We're looking for a product manager to lead a suite of cyber risk and pricing solutions that help underwriters make better risk selection and pricing decisions. You'll bridge underwriting, actuarial, data science and technology teams, turning business goals into practical tools with measurable outcomes.
This is a product leadership role, not a hands-on engineering one. Success comes from understanding customer needs, setting product direction, prioritizing capabilities and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impact.
Key responsibilities:
Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for cyber risk and pricing solutions, partnering with underwriting leadership on growth and profitability goals.
Act as the primary link between underwriters and technical teams, running ongoing discovery, shaping workflows for adoption and refining products based on feedback and outcomes.
Align actuaries, data scientists, engineers and technology partners, prioritize initiatives and communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders.
Own product requirements and acceptance criteria,
keep delivery aligned with business needs and monitor adoption and impact after launch.
Build a working understanding of emerging cyber risks and industry trends to help identify data and analytics approaches where traditional insurance data is limited
Required qualifications
Fluency in English.
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, insurance, data analytics, computer science, engineering or a related field.
6-7+ years in product management, business analysis, actuarial or a related discipline.
Proven ability to translate business objectives into product requirements and technology solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
Sound judgment managing priorities in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in commercial, specialty or financial services insurance.
Understanding of underwriting, risk selection, pricing or actuarial concepts.
Experience with data science, analytics, AI or machine learning products.
Familiarity with Agile product development.
Experience launching analytical tools, decision support systems or workflow applications.
Working knowledge of data products, cloud technology and software development practices.
