This role empowers you to combine technical expertise with real-world impact as part of a collaborative and future-focused environment.Your ImpactDesign roadway lighting, rail tunnel lighting, and traffic signal systems aligned with applicable standards and project specificationsPerform photometric analysis, lighting calculations, and system circuit designConduct voltage drops calculations and prepares detailed wiring and connection diagramsDevelop high-quality contractual deliverables in strict accordance with CADD requirements and design directivesReview existing conditions, drawings and specifications to refine designsParticipate in interdisciplinary coordination sessions to resolve interface issuesCollaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, presenting design concepts in workshops and meetingsApply proactive,



solution-driven thinking to design challenges and client engagementThe Skills That Set You ApartPost‐secondary diploma or degree in engineering, design, or a related disciplineMinimum of two years of relevant experience in lighting design or similar technical environmentsKnowledge of roadway lighting, rail tunnel lighting, and traffic signal design requirementsProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and AGI32.
MicroStation is an asset.Familiarity with PHM‐125 traffic signal drawings and regional specifications (City of Toronto, Region of Peel, Toronto Hydro, Alectra) is an asset.Experience producing consistent and professional CADD drawings and managing revision controlUnderstanding of TTC/Metrolinx CADD standards and ESA/CSA codes and standards is an asset.Asset: Leadership experience or coordination roles within multidisciplinary teamsWhy Choose WSP?
