This role is responsible for leading a team of AP specialists, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and driving process improvements.




The idóneo candidate combines strong technical accounting knowledge with leadership skills and a deep understanding of Latin American regulatory and tax environments.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a team of ***** Accounts Payable specialistsOversee end-to-end AP processing including invoice receipt, validation, coding, approval routing, and payment executionEnsure accurate and timely processing of high-volume invoices (PO and non-PO) across multiple LATAM entitiesManage payment runs (wire transfers, ACH, checks) in accordance with payment terms and cash flow requirementsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of AP operationsDrive automation initiatives including OCR/AI-based invoice processing, workflow automation, and electronic paymentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Treasury, FP&A;, Business Units)Qualifications & RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required)Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent LATAM certification) is a plusExperience5-8 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or related finance operationsMinimum 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory roleDemonstrated experience managing AP operations across multiple Latin American countriesLanguage RequirementsEnglish – Professional proficiency (required)Portuguese – Proficiency is a PLUS
