We're hiring for a US-based strategic finance and advisory firm that partners with high-growth consumer and retail brands. The firm works hand in hand with founders on financial planning, KPI tracking, and fundraising. Data is at the core of how it delivers insights to its clients.

About the role
You'll join a small data team that builds the pipelines, models, and reporting behind the financial analysis delivered to client brands. You'll work with real business data from multiple consumer companies, including sales, customers, inventory, and finance. You'll see firsthand how your work shapes decisions on growth, pricing, and fundraising. You'll report to the Data Lead in Bogotá and collaborate with a US-based finance team.

What you'll do

- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple client sources.

- Build and maintain data models in dbt on top of BigQuery and PostgreSQL.





- Use Python to automate data ingestion, cleaning, and recurring reporting.

- Support KPI dashboards, budget vs. actuals, and cash flow reporting for client brands.

- Run customer and sales analyses such as cohorts, retention, LTV, and trends.

- Run data quality checks to make sure every number delivered to clients is accurate.

- Document models and processes so the team can scale.

Requirements

- Experience: 2- 3 years in data analysis, analytics engineering, or a similar role [TO BE CONFIRMED].

- Languages: SQL and Python (pandas or similar).

- Data stack: dbt, BigQuery, PostgreSQL.

- English: B2/A1

- Location: based in Colombia.

Nice to have

- Interest in or exposure to finance, e-commerce, or consumer brands.

- Experience with data visualization tools.
