Are you a bilingual accountant who works or has worked for U.S. companies? This role is for you.
We're hiring for a U.S.-based financial advisory firm with operations in Medellín. They need a hands-on accountant to own the day-to-day accounting operations and communicate directly with U.S. leadership in English.
What You'll Do:
- full accounting cycle: month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements
- Review accounting records at a transactional level, verify entries are correctly recorded
- Report findings directly to U.S. leadership in English
Must Have:
- Advanced English (C1+), you communicate daily with U.S. clients or teams
- Full-cycle accounting experience, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries
- Based in Medellín, available on-site
Nice to Have:
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP or similar ERPs
- Experience working for or with U.S.-based companies
Don't Need:
- U.S. tax knowledge
- Years of experience: we value technical depth and English fluency over seniority
