Job Title: Salesforce Integration Developer

Reports to: LATAM Vice President

Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements.

Job Summary:

We’re seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia. You’ll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT’s footprint in LatAm. As part of this growth, we are looking for a motivated Salesforce Integration Developer with practical experience in Salesforce.com and expertise in integration tools . This position is idóneo for individuals with a solid grasp of Salesforce configuration and development and a proven ability to integrate Salesforce and external systems using Informatica. We seek someone eager to work on impactful projects and grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external applications.
- Develop and maintain data ingestion processes for loading and synchronizing data into Salesforce.
- Analyze source system data structures and create mapping specifications to Salesforce standard and custom objects.




- Configure and support Salesforce APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Bulk API integrations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and external teams to define integration requirements and data flows.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, data quality problems, and system connectivity challenges.
- Support integration testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Document technical designs, interface specifications, and mapping requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Stay ahead of trends through continuous learning and certifications (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Cloud).
- Work directly with clients to provide strategic insights and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Contribute to internal initiatives and help shape our presence in Colombia.
- Share your expertise with team members and clients, fostering growth and innovation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Competency:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce fundamentals, including Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and platform best practices.
- Basic understanding of integration design patterns and API/web services, including REST and SOAP protocols.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to obtain relevant Salesforce and Informatica certifications within the first year of employment

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience with Salesforce.com in a development or configuration role.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica (Cloud or PowerCenter) in building and maintaining integrations..
