Personal Injury Medical Specialist (MD/DO)

We are seeking a licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our Personal Injury team. This role is adecuado for physicians who enjoy analyzing complex medical cases, reviewing clinical documentation, and collaborating with legal professionals to support personal injury claims.

As a Personal Injury Medical Specialist, you will review medical records, provide clinical insights, assess injury causation and severity, and recommend treatment plans based exclusively on documented medical information.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Review and analyze medical records, diagnostic reports, and treatment histories related to personal injury cases.

✅ Identify injuries, pre-existing conditions, treatment gaps, and inconsistencies within medical documentation.

✅ Prepare detailed medical assessments summarizing findings, causation, and injury severity.

✅ Recommend appropriate treatment options and specialist referrals based on the records reviewed.

✅ Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to clarify medical findings and support case strategy.

✅ Ensure all assessments comply with professional medical standards, HIPAA requirements, and applicable regulations.

✅ Maintain the highest level of accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.

Qualifications

✔ MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

✔ Active and unrestricted medical license.





✔ 3+ years of clinical experience.

✔ Strong clinical background in one or more of the following areas:

- Emergency Medicine
- Orthopedics
- Pain Management
- Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R;)
- Primary Care / Family Medicine

✔ Excellent analytical, writing, and documentation skills. ✔ Ability to independently evaluate medical records and produce clear, defensible medical opinions.

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience reviewing medical records for legal, insurance, workers' compensation, or utilization review purposes.

⭐ Familiarity with personal injury litigation and medical-legal documentation.

⭐ Experience preparing medical summaries, expert opinions, or clinical assessments.

⭐ Comfortable communicating complex medical information to attorneys and legal professionals.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate combines strong clinical expertise with exceptional analytical thinking and written communication skills. Previous experience in Utilization Review, Independent Medical Examinations (IME), Workers' Compensation, Medical Consulting, or Personal Injury cases is highly valued.
