WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERSRL Engineering & Design PLLC is seeking an experienced Water Resources Engineer to join our growing engineering team.
This position is adecuado for a technically strong engineer with experience in stormwater management, hydrology, hydraulics, drainage design, and civil/site development projects. Experience working remotely on engineering projects located in the United States is highly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree in Water Resources, Hydraulics, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience, with significant experience in water resources.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken. The candidate must be comfortable participating in technical meetings and communicating with engineers, clients, and project managers in English.




• Strong knowledge of:
• Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis
• Stormwater management
• Storm drainage system design
• Detention and retention systems
• Culvert and pipe sizing
• Open-channel hydraulics
• Watershed analysis
• Erosion and sediment control
• Floodplain and flood studies
• Ability to independently prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, and design documentation.

Highly Preferred• Previous experience working remotely for a U.S.-based engineering or consulting firm.
• Experience designing projects located in the United States.
• Understanding of U.S. engineering standards, permitting processes, and municipal design requirements.
• Experience with land development and site development projects.
• Experience coordinating with municipalities, review agencies, architects, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Experience responding to review
