Job Summary:
We are looking for a Tax Associate to support a variety of tax-related activities, including tax filings, reporting, journal entries, tax law research, and the management of state tax notices. The role will also support tax audits, sales/use tax compliance, and other tax-related activities while maintaining accurate documentation and organized processes.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain Wabash customer exemption certificates.
• Prepare, file, and process monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
• Prepare tax journal entries.
• Assist the Senior Analyst with tax audits.
• Maintain and complete monthly checklists and calendars.
• Maintain organized process and procedure documentation.
• Maintain and assist with the resolution of sales and use tax notices.




• Assist with fixed assets and property tax compliance activities as needed.
• Conduct tax law research and support tax-related reporting activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• Associate degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or Business.
• 1 year of experience in accounting.
• Experience in handling customer and vendor tax exemption, ideally with basic knowledge of retail or manufacturing sales/use tax.
• B2-C1 English level proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
