At Luker Chocolate, we are looking for a Product Design & Development Professional to join our Innovation, Research & Development team in Bogotá, Colombia.

Luker Chocolate is a Colombian B2B chocolate company that develops high-quality cocoa and chocolate solutions for customers around the world. We work with Fino de Aroma cocoa and are committed to innovation, sustainability, technical excellence, and long-term value creation across the cocoa chain.

This role will be responsible for designing and developing new food products, applying the company’s product development methodology and technical, scientific, and business criteria to respond to internal and external customer needs.

Key responsibilities
• Manage new product development projects within the food industry.
• Apply product development methodologies across formulation, validation, and industrialization stages.
• Plan and coordinate laboratory and pilot plant trials.
• Develop prototypes and evaluate their sensory, physicochemical, and functional performance.




• Analyze prototype results and define next steps in the product development process.
• Coordinate prototype delivery to internal or external customers for evaluation and approval.
• Plan, coordinate, and support industrial trials to validate process conditions for new products.
• Support product start-up and verification stages during industrialization.
• Provide technical training to Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams on newly developed products.
• Conduct technological surveillance, state-of-the-art reviews, trend analysis, and intellectual property activities.
• Interact with suppliers, universities, laboratories, external entities, and customers to support knowledge and technology transfer.

Profile we are looking for
• Professional degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development within the food industry.
